I stopped at the Sunoco Station this evening (Monday, November 9, 2009) at Interstate 71 and State Route 95 to get gas. I went inside and prepaid for $30.00 of gas using cash. I went outside and to pump the gas and the pump slowly shut down like it always does when you are close to your amount.

I looked at the dollar amount on the pump and it was only $26.00. I tried to put more in but it no more gas would come out so I thought it was full but I could not even get 5 more cents into it. It would not do anything. I opened the car door and looked at the gas gauge and the tank was not full.

I went inside and asked why he shut the pump off at $26.00 when I had prepaid $30.00 and my tank was not full. He said he didn’t know what was wrong and told me I could go back out and put the rest in. I told him to just give me the four dollars.

The man tried to screw me out of four dollars! I know that he deliberately made the pump shut off at $26.00 and I almost did not look at the amount when it shut down. How many people has this man screwed out of their hard earned dollars and who else should I contact about this matter.
