sir,
I am using Asianet broadband and my id is TV10668. i am using homenet 399 plan. When i first got the paper it was written that i will get 96 kbps. but now I am only getting 11 kbps.
When i called they are saying that it is 96 bit per seconds. They are cheating. They are writing kbps, So people will use their service and when they complain only people get to know the truth. I know about 7 people who also are angry about this issue.
I am paying Rs.399/- per month for being cheated. I have paid Rs.4800/- an year and now i am cheated with their tricky plan. I Strongly recommend, Please avoid Asianet broadband connection.

Suggested Solution :-
Terminate your Asianet connection immediately. Go to the consumer court for redressal & refund If you need your money back & try Reliance high speed broadband internet instead.Or, go to the local TV media & Tell them about how asianet is cheating you.
This way you will live longer, avoid frustration & be more cheerful! I feel it is far better to lose a little money than Bang your head against brick wall & ruin your time with asianet. Asianet is in my opinion presently led by an Incompetent Team, Who in turn employ with INCOMPETENT STAFF. So don’t worry, be happy.

Hi,
I read your post and i wanted to tell you that the 96kbps isn’t actually the real speed.I’m having Homenet 399 *its slow as hell* and the speed maximum is 12kbps.The real reason that we’re getting 12 kbps is because the 96kbps is actually the bandwidth.Divide the bandwidth by 8 and you get your real speed.
i.e. 96/8= 12.Hope this clarifies your doubt .
