Malpractices And Rowdy Behavior

Dear Sir/Madam,
The incident happened on the 1st of Jan 2010 at Sangam theaters, Mysore. They don’t have the facility of advance booking which forces the consumers to rush for current bookings for each show. First creating a rush at the gate which is only opened at the interval of current going show for booking tickets for next show. On finally making it into the ticket queue, you are rudely told that only one ticket would be given to one person even though there is not notice mentioning the same which can warn the consumer of the rule.

This makes it very difficult for those with small kids / families as the Theater and the manager of the theater expect even those with small kids to come and stand in a queue for over an hour to get the tickets.

Over and above this any request falls on deaf ears and is instead their staff threatening you with sticks. After the booking window closes there are elements in the crowd outside the theater who sell tickets in black at more than double the rate and openly say that they cannot offer a lesser price as they have to give a cut back to the theater.
