Techcom 17" Monitor Complaints and Reviews
Sold Me a Product with Broken SealJan
13
2010
Sir,
I am Ashok. Purchased a new computer in the month of October 2009 and the monitor is of Techcom 17″ CRT. As we took it home we found that the monitor is not working and immediately on the next day we took it to the shop where we purchased.
They send us to the dealer and the dealers checked it and replaced it with a new monitor. At that time i found it as used already and the dealer replied me as it is a new and sealed monitor when i implied my doubt. We believed his words and took it away to home.
After a few days we observed the screen is turning pale yellow frequently and sometimes it seems to be Okay. We thought it as cable fault and just ignored it. Just a few days ago when I am shifting my home I found the warranty seal as Broken. I believe this as a big snap to me and the Dealer wanted to deceive the customers. Please guide me for further activity to do.
When i contact the Branch Office of Techcom and Head office, They implied that it was my mistake to take home the monitor without knowing about the tampered seal. But most of the cases the shop keepers doesn’t give the chance to the customers to look all these things. The same thing happened to me. The guys in the distributors godowns don’t allow me to enter into the room and they just allowed me to look the screen to check.
I am not kidding on this regard and no customer like me doesn’t try to cheat the vendors by spending their valuable time to bear all the unnecessary things. I just wanted to know the solution for such activities by vendors.
