Sub : Non-drawal of pension arrears-case of post-2006 retiree. Reminder submitted.

I retired from railway service on superannuation on 31-5-2008 and my pension payment is authorized by FA & CAO/S.C.Rly. Secunderabad to be paid at SBI/Guntakal(000957) to SB.A/c No.11107112272 through Link Branch of SBI, Main Branch/Anantapur vide PPO No.59011104052 dated 19-5-2008, fixing my monthly pension at Rs 8157/- w.e.f. june, 2008. The bank started crediting my monthly pension as such w.e.f. June, 2008. But due to revision in pay scales of Central Govt. employees w.e.f. 01-6-2006, my basic pension is revised w.e.f.June, 2008 as per the revised PPO of even No. dated 21-02-2009 which was circulated to the concerned bank branches for authorizing them to effect the revision and to pay the arrears thereof as detailed below:

Revised Basic Pension : Rs 12015 (as against Rs 7529/-) w.e.f 01-6-2008 Residual Pension( 12015-Commutation-1 Rs 3011) : Rs 9004 w.e.f.01-6-2008 to 16-2-2009. Residual Pension (9004-Commutation-2 Rs 1795) : Rs 7209 from 17-2-2009 onwards.

The dearness relief is payable on revised Basic pension / Family pension at 12% w.e.f. 01-01-2008 & 16% w.e.f. 01-7-2008 and further D.Rs as admissible from time to time. As such an amount of Rs 26,578/- as pensionary arrears is to be paid. I requested the bank to pay the arrears accrued due to P.C. revision, vide my letter dated 17-7-2009. I am once again submitting my request to credit the balance arrears to my SB A/C No. 11107112272 With S.B.I./Main Branch, Guntakal of Anantapur District. Early redressal is requested.
