We were told to deal with the builder for the first year of possesion, which we did. Now it has been over a year, and after SEVERAL attempt to contact the builder to do some small repairs, we got fed up and contacted NHW. Because we did not file the complaint in the first year, even though we were told to deal with the builder during the first year, that our file is closed and there is nothing that they will do about it. If I am a builder, all I have to do is keep putting you off for the first year, and after that you are on your own. National Home Warranty is a scam that is more worried about closing your file as fast as they can, than actually doing their job and providing a warranty that the builder will do what they are paid to do.
