Stay far away from Louis A. Boni, SR. Presently, he is the president of lab companies inc. and affiliates himself with Sla-Tur construction, whose state contractor license he uses. Mr. Boni, SR, does not have a state contractor’s license, so he has to use someone else’s. William Slade. JR is the licensed contractor; however Mr. Slade does not oversee any work undertaken by Louis A. Boni.Sr, Mr.Boni has defrauded numerous south Florida homeowners.
The lawsuits in the browed and palm beach areas are mounting against him. The judgments, federal and state, are mounting against him. The state license of Mr. Slade is pending revocation review, and administratively, this could take a long time. A criminal conviction was obtained against Mr. Boni, and he is presently serving probation for organized fraud.
If one looked up the definition of “crook” in Webster’s dictionary, Louis A.Boni, Sr. Would appear. He lies, cheats and steals. Unfortunately for the unsuspecting homeowner, they get a double hit, when the unpaid subcontractors serve them with notice to owners then convert the notices to liens on their homes. This man belongs in prison.

In May 2009, my husband and I hired Sla-tur Construction to build a small sandwich shop in Pembroke Pines. Mr. Lou Boni promptly started the job, and over the course of a few months, misappropriated over 80% of the funds. What should have taken 45 days and $124K to complete, took over 6 months and cost in excess of $230K to finish.
I was 7 months pregnant at the time, and distinctly remember him standing in our driveway and taking a check for $20K from my hands, all the while knowing he was stealing from us.
In summary, Lou Boni stole over $80K of our money, and the quality of work was terrible, not to mention the loss of income that would have been generated had the store been open on time.
Lou Boni is a crook, thief, and a lying POS.
