This car was given for Paid Service (Express) against Job Order No. 004255 on May 10, 2009, at your authorized Service centre dial automobiles in Chetla, Kolkata, with the specific remarks of underbody noise. The car was serviced against invoice no 019840 dated May 10, 2009 for Rs 1973.00.

However, no improvement was noticed in the under body noise. I had expressed my dissatisfaction in the prescribed format of Maruti Udyog Limited. I am a resident of 623 ‘O’ Block, New Alipore, Kolkata-700053, but Monday to Saturday my work takes me to Haldia, where I am a Consultant to a Japanese firm, M/s Toyo Engineering India Ltd engaged in the expansion project of Haldia Petrochemicals Limited. Mr.Ronen Nandy, MD of DIAL rang me up to say that the defects shall be rectified and accordingly he took the responsibility of collecting the car from my garage on Nov 10, 2009.

However, while taking out the car, the authorized driven damaged the rear wheel cover, which Mr. Nandy promised to replace. The car was delivered the next day but on checking next Sunday i.e. today, I find that the noise into he cross bearing is still there and has worsened. The matter may please be dealt with accordingly from your level and the problem alleviated.

Tata AIG has issued me a free service booklet wherein they have a list of free services to be provided by their nominated dealers for vehicles insured through them. We contacted K.B.Motors for the same, who blatantly refused to honour the voucher. We contacted Tata AIG, Kolkata, Mr. Ashok Kundu who promised to get back in a day, but has not given us any response in the past 10 days. A complaint had also been lodged with the customer compalint e mail address provided but to no avail.
