False Repair Claims And Ripped Off

Nissan of McKinney’s Service dept. made false repair claims amounting to over $8000. They told me my 2003 Murano’s transmission was shot and my differential was in terrible need of repair. When I took my car back to them when NMC extended the transmission warranty. They said I had to have my transfer case repaired for $2000 to get my transmission replaced under warranty.

My differential seemed to have repaired itself. I test drove my Murano with the service manager P.J. Neher and sure enough the transmission and transfer case were making a terrible grinding noise. I had never heard those noises before. They told me my Murano was unsafe to drive now.

I had my Murano towed to a new Dealership Service Dept. The next day I was informed my transmission, transfer case, differential were all in good shape. This is the worst case of service fraud I have ever experienced. I’m probably just one of thousands that have been lie too and attempted to be ripped off by these thieves masquerading as Service Technicians. Something needs to be done to protect the consumer. I believe Nissan of McKinney’s service department’s integrity is abominable.
