Hopkins Automotive Used Car Dealer Complaints and Reviews
No Guarantee And Poor Customer ServiceFeb
9
2010
Hopkins Automotive is the worst used car dealership I’ve ever been to and I 100% regret ever purchasing a car from them or even stepping foot on their lot for that matter from management down, you receive the worst customer service ever if you’re having problems with the vehicle the car I purchased has been in their service repair 5 times (6 in total I needed a certified repair shop to look at it) within a 5 months, time period with 3 of those times being w/in the 1st month of purchase.
I always got the runaround when I called regarding the issues with the car, I was talked to any kind of way and the dealership had the nerve to refuse to return my car after I’ve been make prompt payments just because their technicians could not repair the issue after 3 attempts. So that the car could pass inspection! (Which they supposedly guarantee) I’ve asked management what the guarantee provides if the car continuously fails. And the management replied that’s a question that no one has the answer to. Management has also made the following comments in my many conversations with them.
I don’t want to trade you out of the car because there’s no guarantee that you’ll be traded into something better (my mom witnessed this comment), if you wanted a car that ran like brand new, you should’ve went and purchased a brand new car my response No, I wanted a car that was reliable and would pass inspection and in response for my extreme need for transportation how is that our problem.
Horrible customer service no interest in customer satisfaction at all and I even explained to the technician how I needed the car to get to work to help support my mom and siblings due to my father’s recent death and they tried to accuse me of not complying with the contract agreement that I would have to take the car through inspection within 10 business days of purchase but the car was in the shop the entire time.
It was just the worst experience ever and I discourage anyone from purchasing a car from them unless you plan on not paying for the car (in that case shop till you drop!)
