Be very wary when dealing with The Classic Car Connection in St. Catherine’s, Ontario Canada. I had a deal to purchase a car from them, which they then turned around and “changed their mind” and decided to keep the vehicle.

I should have been more cautious as the dealer Mel Waters told me he told another customer the exact same story as he wanted someone like me to own the car. Honestly, he was great to deal with when trying to buy the car as he went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the deal. But why not when you’re not going to deliver the vehicle in the end anyway. In the end I believe someone else came along and offered more cash so he steered himself in that direction, although the suggestion was that the car was being kept for his own enjoyment.

Be very careful dealing with these guys. Their cars are well used and may have some issues. I knew the one I was looking at did, but I was willing to accept that. Others may think they’re getting a great deal but be stuck with thousands in repair bills.
